Hugh Acheson is a Canadian-born chef and restaurateur. He owns four restaurants in Georgia, and serves as a judge on the reality cooking competition show Top Chef.
In celebration of the release of Hugh’s newest cookbook, The Chef & The Slow Cooker(available October 17, 2017), Chef Hugh Acheson is hitting the road for a book tour.
Acheson will be taking a good ole’ fashioned coast-to-coast road trip to bring The Chef & The Slow Cooker to 25 cities across the USA.
At each stop he’ll host an interactive taco making demonstration, and tacos from the demonstration will be sold to benefit Seed Life Skills, a non-profit that Acheson started to help get kids cooking and connect science to real life problems. Attendees can pick his brain about all slow cooker questions, purchase books and also get them personalized.
