On Friday night at Project 658 in Charlotte, former Carolina Panthers teammates Steve Smith Sr. and Jake Delhomme reunited for a charity dinner benefiting the Smith Family Wellness Center, a new clinic that offers medical and counseling services for families facing personal challenges.

The dinner featured an interview session with Delhomme and Smith Sr. that offered some good laughs. Among those in attendance were current and retired Panthers Jonathan Stewart, Ryan Kalil, Kevin Donnalley and former Panther, Josh Norman.

One of the highlights of the evening came when a random person named Ryan (most likely Kalil) asked Smith Sr. why he always antagonized opposing defensive lineman knowing he didn’t have to block them.
