Authors Jacob Berger and Daniel Coston have released the second edition of There Was A Time: Rock & Roll In The 1960s In Charlotte, And North Carolina. This new edition features a whole new design, several new interviews, newly found photos, discography, index, and a more complete story of the Rock & Roll scene in North Carolina during that remarkable time.

The book details the Charlotte scene, while also covering what was going on throughout the state.

Daniel Coston is a music writer and photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his career he has photographed musicians like Johnny Cash, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Whiskeytown, Superchunk, Tift Merritt & The Carbines and more.
