4th annual Reverb Fest ‘Sweet 16’ lineup announced

The Charlotte based indie music festival, Reverb Fest announced its 2016 lineup today. The 4th annual festival is a showcase of some of Charlotte’s finest up-and-coming regional independent music acts. Headlining the festival which will move from Neighborhood Theatre to Snug Harbor in Plaza Midwood, is Alex G from Philadelphia, PA. In keeping the tradition, this iteration of Reverb Fest will have a new theme: Sweet ’16.

Also performing at this year’s festival is Patabamba, Cal Maro, Landless, Black Market, Miami Dice, and StereoLoud. Reverb Fest brings together an eclectic mix of punk, indie, afrobeat, lo-fi, hip hop and R&B.

The festival has been nationally recognized in Pitchfork and has earned Creative Loafing’s Best of Charlotte award for Best New Fest in 2014, Best Music Event in 2015. This year, curator Phil Pucci aims to keep up the momentum with its most sprawling and ambitious lineup yet.
