Carolina Hurricanes Facts

Joining the NHL in 1979 as the Hartford Whalers, the team relocated to North Carolina in 1997 where they became the Hurricanes. Since moving to Carolina, the Hurricanes have won three division titles, two Eastern Conference titles and one Stanley Cup, in the 2005-06 season.
