The Avett Brothers brought in the new year in Charlotte with DJ Logic and a sold-out coliseum crowd. It was the first show in the Queen City since their New Year’s Eve show in 2013 at Time Warner Cable Arena (now the Spectrum Center).

After the clock turned to 12:00 a.m., the band went into a trippy cover of Pink Floyd’s “Time.”
