After Bonnaroo initially rescheduled their sold-out festival for September before eventually cancelling the event in June, the festival has announced “Virtual Roo-Ality.” A three-night online presentation of original performances and archival footage from some of the most memorable sets on the Farm.

The virtual festival will feature historic sets like the Beastie Boys final performance in 2009, James Brown in 2003, and The White Stripes in 2007, along with more recent sets from Alabama Shakes (2015), Jack White (2014), Run the Jewels (2015), The xx (2017), and Tears for Fears (2015).

In addition to the 13 archived sets, original performances and appearances are slated for David Lynch, Action Bronson, Denzel Curry, Hayley Williams, Tank and the Bangas, Allen Stone, Jamila Woods, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, and many more.

The event will also feature special programming including a cooking segment with Big Freedia, a panel on mental health with Hayley Williams, and a conversation with filmmaker David Lynch. Toyota will donate $30,000 in grants to the nonprofits represented in the panels and conversations including Therapy For Black Girls, Dive In Well, Creative Futures Collective, The Orenda Tribe and The Okra Project.

“Virtual Roo-Ality” will take place on September 24-26, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET on the Bonnaroo YouTube channel.
