Duran Duran launches Equality North Carolina’s petition against House Bill 2 in Charlotte

Earlier this week, Mumford & Sons decided to play a scheduled sold-out arena show in Charlotte, North Carolina despite several nationally touring acts recently canceling shows due to House Bill 2. They announced on social media that all of the proceeds would be donated to an LGBTQ rights non-profit and reiterated that point and the reasoning during their set.

Last night, Duran Duran played a show at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina after considering cancelation of the show due to the controversial bill. The english pop-rock band launched a petition against House Bill 2 by Equality North Carolina, who was pivotable in the legendary band playing their scheduled show in Charlotte.
