10,000 Maniacs is an alternative rock band originally formed in Jamestown, New York by Dennis Drew (keyboards), Steven Gustafson (bass), Chet Cardinale (drums), and Robert Buck (guitar) in 1981. Originally fronted by Natalie Merchant, she was replaced by Mary Ramsey in 1993. The band has released nine studio albums, six EPs, and five live albums with multiple charting singles like “Because the Night,” “These Are Days,” “More Than This,” and “Trouble Me.”
