Ben Folds is a singer-songwriter, musician, composer, record producer and former frontman of the alternative rock band Ben Folds Five. Since May of 2017, the Winston-Salem native has been serving as the artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and in July of 2019, he published his first book, A Dream About Lightning Bugs: A Life of Music and Cheap Lessons.
