Benji Hughes is a singer-songwriter from Charlotte. Starting his career with local band Muscadine, Hughes released his debut solo album A Love Extreme on July 22, 2008 via New West Records. Hughes has also written music for film and television (Walk Hard, Eastbound & Down), and released his Merge Records debut, Songs in the Key of Animals in 2016.
