Big Head Todd and the Monsters celebrate their 40th anniversary with a tour, performing at Neighborhood Theatre this week. Formed in 1986 in Boulder, Colorado, the band—featuring Todd Park Mohr (vocals, guitar, keyboards, saxophone), Brian Nevin (drums, percussion), Rob Squires (bass, vocals), and Jeremy Lawton (keyboards, pedal steel) — has built a devoted following over the years with its signature blend of alternative and blues rock. Rising to fame with their 1993 platinum album Sister Sweetly, the band became well known for hits like “Bittersweet,” “Broken Hearted Savior,” and “Circle.” Big Head Todd and the Monsters released their latest album, Her Way Out, in May 2024.
