Explore the brilliant new exhibitions, Quilts & Social Fabric, Shaping the Vessel and Nellie Ashford: Through My Eyes. A Charlotte native, Ashford is a self-taught folk artist who creates a world filled with realistic imagery that reflects a time gone by.

5th & York will provide the soundtrack for the evening. With a set list that covers the music of Grover Washington Jr, Kirk Whalum, Stevie Wonder and Norman Brown, 5th & York’s smooth jazz groove will bring back memories of summers gone by.

Featured artist Natasha Powell Walker (aka Edith Grey) will paint live, using vibrant color to tackle complex issues. Take a moment to enjoy her work as Grey shares her technique and inspiration.

Paint & Sip With Cathay Dawkins

At 7:00 pm, sip wine (or not) and indulge your inner artist. Enjoy an evening of relaxation, wine-tasting and guided painting for only $25 ($20 for members). All art supplies, instruction and a complimentary glass of wine are included. Additional drinks are available for purchase throughout the painting session. Seating is limited to 20 participants, so purchase your tickets early.

Parking: Please park in the Duke Energy garage (101 W. Stonewall Street entrance) or The Green garage (435 S. Tryon Street) to receive special discounted parking.
