Chef Chris Coleman will serve up deliciousness from the upcoming Goodyear House menu at a pop-up dinner with proceeds benefiting Community Matters Cafe, a full-service restaurant and cafe launched by Charlotte Rescue Mission.
The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18 with passed appetizers, and the menu for the family-style meal includes a selection of items from the anticipated Goodyear House restaurant. The dinner will also be served by students in the Community Matters Cafe program, graduates of the Charlotte Rescue Mission, who are learning critical life skills in a cafe/restaurant setting that equip them to get and keep a long-term job.
