2018 Homegrown Tomato Festival – Benefit For 100 Gardens

The Homegrown Tomato Festival is a tomato-themed event where tomato lovers can try dozens of different backyard variations, buy local, crown the region’s best grower, eat tomato sandwiches, enjoy live music, and help benefit 100 Gardens mission to teach aquaponics and environmental education in Charlotte. Everyone attending the 2018 Homegrown Tomato Festival will also receive 100 Gardens beer glass. Only 2,000 available!

Community historian and Charlotte Observer columnist Tom Hanchett will also tell tales of the origin of the tomato while Dalton Espaillat of Sabor Latin Street Grill and Dan Huntley (Dan the Pig Man) cook tomato dishes and engage in conversation with Tom.
