Urbanites are proud to present HousingFest Unplugged featuring Justin Fedor and Reeve Coobs. Show starts at 7:15 p.m. with doors open at 6 p.m. A $10 suggested donation at the door and $1 from every pint sold will help end homelessness in the form of housing for some of Charlotte’s most vulnerable citizens, those with a disability and homeless for more than one year.
This show is in support of Urban Ministry Center, Charlotte’s HousingFest – A Concert to End Homelessness.
For over a decade Justin Fedor has been touring with Charlotte, NC’s alt-country rockers, The New Familiars. As the band’s founding member, Fedor has worn many hats as a bandleader, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist playing mandolin, guitar, and banjo. In constant pursuit of creativity, he joins local standouts, Stephen Warwick and Justin Faircloth, as Ancient Cities and is actively touring as their bass player.
Reeve Coobs is a singer-songwriter from the Charlotte, NC area. She has been crafting songs now for over 15 years. She is the daughter of guitar-builder, Jack Coobs of Coobs Guitars. She spent many years touring up and down the south east with the all-gal band, The Near Misses. Reeve’s voice is “stop you in your tracks” good but the songs she writes are just as strong.
