JazzArts Charlotte’s Jazz Room, a casual and intimate show reminiscent of yesteryear, returns Stage Door Theater with a special ode to a vital instrument in jazz music: the saxophone. An evening that will feature some of the best saxophone players from the region and beyond with Chelsea Baratz, Stacy Dillard, Tommy Morimoto and Brice Winston, accompanied by Kobie Watkins (drums), Shannon Hoover (bass), Kevin Bales (piano).

There will also be a Tenor Madness: A Panel Discussion featuring the performers on Saturday August 13 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
