Celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop this year, Grammy Award-winning rapper and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee LL Cool J has announced his first headlining tour in 30 years, coming to Charlotte (Sept. 9 at Spectrum Center) and Raleigh (Sept. 10 at PNC Arena) this summer with The Roots, Rakim, De La Soul, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Juvenile.

The F.O.R.C.E. Live Tour (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) builds off the dynamic performance at the 65th Grammy Awards with the legendary hip-hop band, The Roots. The show is billed as a “non-stop musical mash-up with artist performances interwoven within one continuous musical set backed by The Roots.”
