After her dazzling Music & Museum debut last spring, Andrea Mumm returns to the Bechtler for a chamber-music program with violinist Rosemary Furniss and three other of her Charlotte Symphony colleagues: violinist Joe Meyer, violist Ben Geller, and cellist Jon Lewis. The program includes a delightful harp concerto by Georg Friedrich Handel, some brilliant solo works for the harp, bookended by some classic French works for the enchanting combination of harp and string quartet.
Debussy: Danses Sacrée et Profane
Handel: Harp Concerto in B-Flat, Op.4 No. 6
Marcel Tournier: Féerie
Gershwin: Lullaby for Strings
Andre Caplet: Conte Fantastique
