An intimate pop-up market in the alleys of the Design Center has partnered with New York-based plant shop, The Sill, to bring Charlotte: “Plant Alley” on September 6, from 5:30-9 p.m.
The market will be held in Nebel Alley and Tompkins Alley, the two main alleys of the Design Center. In Nebel Alley, you will find local plant shops including Cactus Club, Verde Tribe, Malone’s Succulent Greenhouse, The Wooden Fern, Wildly Urban, and Flea Shop, who will offer free plants, sponsored by The Sill, if you buy a vintage planter or plant accessory. The Sill will have a representative on-site to pass out plant care information, swag, and host an on-site giveaways.
In addition to the seven plant-centric shops, you’ll find 28 pop-up vendors introducing their handmade and local goods to South End’s shoppers and restaurant patrons. Throughout South End you’ll be able to find the First Friday Art Crawl, creating a great experience in South End.
Green shops: The Wooden Fern (wall art ferns), Flea Shop (free plant when you by a vintage pot), Verde Tribe (pop-up plant shop with handmade pots), The Sill, Meetcha Matcha (green matcha beverages), and more.
