Pylon Reenactment Society is an off-shoot band of the new wave/post-punk band, Pylon, from Athens, Georgia. Since 2014, Vanessa Briscoe Hay (vocalist for Pylon), has fronted the Pylon Reenactment Society which also features members of fellow Athens bands like The Glands and Casper & the Cookies. They perform the music of Pylon and released an EP in 2017.

It’s Snakes are an indie rock quartet consisting of Hope Nicholls on vocals and standing-drums, Aaron Pitkin and Greg Walsh on dueling guitars, and Darrin Gray on bass. Their latest album, 2020’s LX, lives out loud and playfully, pulling in rockabilly twangs with “Snakes and Their Horses” and “Cricket Rider,” while inviting listeners onto the dance floor with clapping beats and stomps on tracks like “New Earbuds” and “13 ½.”
