Quicksand is a New York post-hardcore band founded in 1990 consisting of Walter Schreifels (vocals/guitarist), Alan Cage (drummer), and Sergio Vega (bassist). The band released their debut EP in 1993 and after multiple break-ups reunited in 2012. Quicksand released their first album in 22 years, Interiors, in November of 2017, and their latest album Distant Populations, August 13, 2021 via Epitaph Records.
