Echo Courts: “Subduing the low end, Greensboro’s Echo Courts allow their psych-addled sound to swirl and sprawl. The guitars tangle, refracted through just the right amount of reverb, as bass lines cut through despite a thin tone. Echo Courts exist somehow as both a driving rock band and a bleary-eyed pop outfit.” – Jordan Lawrence, Indy Week

Fat Geoff: it ain’t over til the fat man raps

Landless: Mixed media w/ Nicholas Holman, Phil Pucci, Bo White, Josh Faggart

Miami Dice: MIAMI DICE is the atmosphere and beat-oriented project of Shaun Olson, also drummer and founding member of indie/psyche/shoegaze outfit Cement Stars. An Italo disco-influenced dance project, MIAMI DICE incorporates vintage synth sounds, laid-back beats, minimal vocals and a vibe that evokes the neon-lit after-hours world of the late 70’s and early 80’s. 2013 saw Olson’s Cement Stars bandmate Josh Faggart (a.k.a. Le Joshua ) join the live show on drums, and next, Scott Weaver (a.k.a. Chaka Wolf Fever, formerly of the bands Babyshaker and Snagglepuss) on trumpet and percussion. The debut EP, Oscillator Violators, was followed up by the Holiday original Dice on Ice single this year, and a new album is in the works for 2014, complete with special guest appearances.

Modern Moxie: Madison Lucas & Co put their eclectic touches on electro indie rock

Modern Primitives: Real Rock n Roll. Charlotte,NC
