Tickets: $120 plus

Haymaker Restaurant honors the Southern Foodways Alliance, an organization that documents, studies, and celebrates the diverse food cultures of the changing American South, bringing together some of Charlotte’s best chefs.

Charlotte has become one of the most energetic foodways in the South and they are celebrating with the Southern Foodways Alliance for a special Sunday Supper to celebrate Charlotte’s ever-growing food scene.

Participating Chefs:

William Dissen – Haymaker, The Market Place & Billy D’s Fried Chicken Restaurants
Joe Kindred – Kindred & Hello Sailor Restaurants
Greg Collier – Uptown Yolk Restaurant
Rodolfo Montero – Sav/Way Foods
Ashley Anna Tuttle – Community Matters Cafe

5:30 p.m. – Cocktail Reception with Intro from Claire Moss & Chef William Dissen.
Introduce SFA & Chefs
6:00 p.m. – 5 Course Family Style Dinner paired with drinks

Haymaker Canapés
Tomato Sandwich, house made pullman bread, garlic aioli
Pickled Shrimp Salad, fennel, fermented chili, cucumbers

1st Course
Flounder Crudo, green coriander, cucumber, soft herbs
Chef Joe Kindred – Kindred Restaurant

2nd Course
Dirty Rice Grits, fried chicken skins, stem chow chow
Chef Greg Collier – Uptown Yolk

3rd Course
Artichokes, magret duck, pedro ximenez, salmorejo cordobes
Chef Rodolfo Montero – Sav/Way Foods

4th Course
Pork Coppa Carnitas, salsa verde, whole wheat roti, lots of pickles
Chef William Dissen – Haymaker Restaurant

Dessert
Peach Tart, almonds, and ricotta
Chef Ashley Anna Tuttle – Community Matters Cafe
