Durham’s Sylvan Esso has announced two shows at the Historic Durham Athletic Park on May 20 and 21 in 2022 with Little Brother, Yo La Tengo, Indigo De Souza, and Mr. Twin Sister. The duo shared the news on Instagram with Amelia Meath holding a banner with the dates and location of the concerts from the historic ballpark. Back in July, they shared a live performance of “Numb” on the field famously known as the primary location for the film, Bull Durham.
Sylvan Esso embarked on their 30-date Shaking Out The Numb tour in September which kicked off with a block party at Chapel Hill’s Cats Cradle to celebrate the launch of their new Durham-based record label, Psychic Hotline. The hometown shows in Durham will ensure many will be able to catch the popular electro-pop duo in the region. Tickets are $50 plus fees for each night with two-day passes starting at $85.
