Since 1997, Levine Museum has hosted one of Charlotte’s premiere fundraising events, Taste of the New South – one of the most memorable events of the spring attracting over 500 people each year. Through the generosity of individual and corporate supporters, Taste of the New South has raised more than $1 million since its inception to support Levine Museum programs and educational outreach.
Why do we love Taste? Inspired food and specialty drinks. Engaging music and innovative entertainment. A dynamic and enthusiastic crowd. And most importantly, proceeds support our vision: of using history to build community.
In celebration of our newest exhibit ¡NUEVOlution! Latinos and the New South, the 2016 Taste of the New South: ¡Savor Sabor! will feature cuisines from across Latin America re- envisioned with a Southern fusion.
Individual tickets are $125 for non-members, $100 for members. For more details, contact Kris Cole, Director of Philanthropy Operations, at 704.333.1887 ext. 241 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
