Singer-songwriter and guitarist Jay Garrigan and Shawn Lynch (drummer) have played in bands together for over two decades (Poprocket, Temperance League), and have known bassist Darrin Gray well before that. Through years of touring and putting out records the group came together as The Eyebrows.
