The Hu is a Mongolian heavy metal band formed in 2016 that describes their style as “hunnu rock.” The style is inspired by the Hunnu, an ancient Mongol/Turkic empire, known as Hünnü in Mongolia. The band released their debut album, The Gereg, in 2019 and are expected to release their follow up, This Is the Mongol, in May of 2022.
