The War on Drugs, an indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, originally founded by Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile in 2005, have announced new summer tour dates. Currently consisting of Adam Granduciel (vocals, guitar), David Hartley (bass), Robbie Bennett (keys), Charlie Hall (drums), Jon Natchez (saxophone, keyboards), Anthony LaMarca (guitar) and Eliza Hardy Jones (keyboards), their fourth studio album, A Deeper Understanding, released in 2017, won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The band released their latest album, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, on October 29, 2021, through Atlantic Records.
In addition to the Charlotte stop, the band will also play Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater on June 13 and Asheville’s Rabbit Rabbit on June 15 before performing at Bonnaroo this summer on June 17 (Check out the new summer tour dates below).
