The inaugural Uncorked: Charlotte Wine Festival on Saturday Feb. 29 from 7-11 p.m. at Discovery Place. This event features over 100 different wines and champagnes from across the globe, gourmet food vendors, a custom photo booth, interactive exhibits and more.
There are three sessions for this event. VIP admission ($90) is at 7 p.m. and includes four hours of tasting, shorter lines during the first hour, a special commemorative wine tumbler, and access to the exclusive VIP suite with a few additional high end wineries and virtual reality exhibit. Early access ($75) is at 7 p.m. and includes the extra first hour of tasting with shorter lines. General admission ($60) is at 8 p.m. and the event ends at 11 p.m. Tickets include admission, access to the exhibits and all wine tasting (food sold separately).
This event also benefits local community non profit Kids N Technology which works to has been shape, redefine, grow, and blaze the trail in STEM. KNT blends hands-on technology, real-world problem solving, exploration and play, with leadership, communication, and creative thinking.
