Chef Shawn Harrison will be taking over The Davidson Street Public House located in the heart of NoDa for a three-course pop up dinner. If you haven’t experienced Shawn’s food, do not miss this chance! An all vegan affair, this menu is packed with plant-based flavor from the first course composed of a squash with ‘parmesan’ and truffle, hush puppies, and seasonal green salad, to the banana pudding desert. You will not go home hungry and will hopefully have gained an even greater appreciation of the complex and rich flavors possible in a vegan lifestyle.
June 19, 2016 12 pm at Sycamore Brewing – First come, first serve
Rather than drag dad to some stuffy Father’s Day Brunch, give the man what he authentically wants: BBQ and something to wash that pig down with. Sycamore Brewing and Sauceman’s BBQ are teaming up to roast a whole pig for you and dad to delve into over a tasty brew as you bond over its succulence. Get to the brewery early: this is a first come first serve event and there is nothing worse than saddening your father when your good intentions turn sour through lack of saucy sustenance.
