Back in November, the folk-duo Shovels & Rope based in Charleston, South Carolina in partnership with AC Entertainment announced their first self-curated music festival, High Water Fest at Riverfront Park in North Charleston.

The lineup was announced and received with much elation as it included The Shins, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Dawes, Deer Tick, Lucius, Jump Little Children, Julien Baker, and many more on the first-time festival bill. Fans were surprised that tickets sold-out in less than a month, but the festival announced an “earned ticket” program in late January for an opportunity to volunteer in exchange for a general admission ticket. Those opportunities went pretty fast as well.

In February, the lineup of chefs for “Pass The Peas,” a family-style brunch experience during the festival with locally crafted libations, prepared food, and wines paired from around the world was announced. The chefs for the Pass The Peas dining experience located on the scenic lawn of Quarters H at Riverfront Park will be headed by Jacques Larson (Wild Olive & The Obstinate Daughter), Kevin Johnson (The Grocery), Michael Geib (167 Raw), John Lewis (Lewis Barbeque), Martha Lou (Martha Lou’s Kitchen), and Chris Stewart (The Glass Onion). In addition, the ticket to Pass the Peas will include exclusive access to private artist sessions inside the intimate Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel.

With over 20 musical acts across two stages and Charleston chef-curated dining experiences; local craft beer, wine, and cocktail immersions, many are excited to hear the festival will be releasing a limited amount of weekend passes with Pass The Peas tickets at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 10.
