Local movement and sculpture artists will take over Free Range Brewery for an experiential dining performance featuring dance and live video manipulation January 13th and 16th. A feast for the senses, Parallel Visions is the collaboration between three North Carolina natives: Jonathan Prichard (a visual and site-specific performance artist), Alexander Windner Lieberman (an improvisational and collaborative dancer), and Koichi Matsuda (a culinary innovator who explores the interrelations of food, ceremony, and performance). Live camera projections will also be provided by Reuben Bloom of video production company Basic Cable. According to the creators, Parallel Visions will “stimulate your senses on the path to enlightenment with ritual performance, experiential dining, projected images, and guided meditation.” Each evening will be a transformative journey that focuses on self-awareness, reincarnation, vision quests and spirit guides. Guests will also receive multiple food courses throughout. Parallel Visions is sure to be a sensational and savory event unlike anything else!
