Beloved Seattle grunge-rock band, Pearl Jam announced today their long-awaited album, Gigaton, will be released on March 27 through their own label, Monkeywrench Records. In addition to announcing their first album since 2013’s Lighting Bolt, the legendary ’90s rockers revealed their 2020 North American tour dates.
“Making this record was a long journey,” guitarist Mike McCready said in a statement. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
The limited tour dates don’t include any shows in the Carolinas, but the band will be coming to Nashville on April 2. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 24.
