Porno for Pyros, the Los Angeles rock band formed by Perry Farrell after the original break up of Jane’s Addiction, will reunite this fall for their first tour in 25 years. The 21-date tour will kick off in October and arrive in Charlotte at The Fillmore on November 7. The current lineup will feature Farrell back together with Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins with original Porno for Pyros members Peter DiStefano and Martyn LeNoble.
The band have released only two albums: their self-titled debut in 1993 and Good God’s Urge in 1996. Guitarist Peter DiStefano did confirm they are “writing and recording new music.”
The Live Nation pre-sale will start Thursday, July 13 at 10 a.m. (code: LEGEND) and the general on-sale will begin Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m.
