MerleFest, one of North Carolina’s longest running music festivals founded in 1988 and located in Wilkesboro, announced additions to their 2017 lineup. The Avett Brothers, Chatham County Line, Mandolin Orange, Steep Canyon Rangers and more will join the over 75 artists scheduled to perform at this year’s festival.
The 30th year celebration of this homecoming of roots music artists has drawn over 75,000 participants yearly. The lineup additions will add to an already solid lineup that consists of Sam Bush, Zac Brown Band, Sarah Jarosz, Mipso, Del McCoury Band, Jim Lauderdale, and many more.
