Co-creator of the original Woodstock Music & Arts Festival, Michael Lang announced the lineup for the highly-anticipated Woodstock 50th anniversary festival happening in Watkins Glen, New York on August 16-18.
Lang, John Fogerty (who performed at the original Woodstock), and rapper Common revealed the lineup at a Electric Lady Studios panel discussion.
The mega lineup will feature Jay-Z, the Black Keys, The Killers, Run The Jewels, Gary Clark Jr., Cage the Elephant, Dead & Company, Raconteurs, Robert Plant, Chance the Rapper, Courtney Barnett, Leon Bridges, Vince Staples, and many more.
Woodstock 50 will be the third official Woodstock re-creation of the original event in 1969 with the previous being Woodstock ’94 and Woodstock ’99.
Tickets for Woodstock 50 will go on sale April 22 at Woodstock.com.
