Betty White has been an animal and pet advocate since the early 1970s when she was both produced and hosted the syndicated series “The Pet Set.” She works with a number of animal organizations, including the Los Angeles Zoo Commission, the Morris Animal Foundation, African Wildlife Foundation, and Actors & Others for Animals.
