ThxSoMch, the Canadian indie rock/rap project of Carter De Filippis, is in town this week to headline his world tour at Neighborhood Theatre. Coming off the release of his debut studio album, The Sound of You Laughing, ThxSoMch has built a strong fan base with his genre-blending sound that fuses indie rock and rap with post-punk energy. Alternative pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Re6ce, from Liverpool, and Chicago hyperpop artist Heffy will open the show.

The 2025‑26 college basketball season tips off Tuesday as the No. 6 Duke Blue Devils face the Texas Longhorns in the Dick Vitale Invitational at the Spectrum Center. Duke enters the season under fourth‑year head coach Jon Scheyer, coming off a 35‑4 campaign that included an ACC regular‑season crown, an ACC Tournament title, and a Final Four appearance. The Blue Devils return six players and welcome the nation’s No. 1‑ranked recruiting class, led by Cameron Boozer. The game also marks the debut of Sean Miller as Texas head coach; Miller posted a 487‑196 (.713) record over 20 seasons at Xavier and Arizona, including 13 NCAA Tournament appearances.
