Charlotte FC is just days away from kicking off their inaugural 2022 expansion season. After the pandemic delayed the start of the club’s first season, they are finally ready to debut on Saturday night against DC United.

Many Charlotte FC fans will make the trek to the nation’s capital to cheer on their new team, but there are several options to watch the game locally, both at home and with local supporters groups.

The opening match will air on WSOC-TV Channel 9 and in Spanish on their sister network, Telemundo Charlotte. Plenty of local watering holes will have the match on, but to truly get the feel of the intensity and passion of soccer fans, watching with a Charlotte FC supporters group is the best experience.

The club has partnered with numerous supporters groups from all over the Carolinas to bring the energy to game days. Each group has partnered with a local bar or restaurant to host watch parties for every road match. All events run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are free to the public with supporter group members receiving benefits like shirts, flags, scarves, and more.
