Comedian Dave Chappelle announced two shows in South Carolina this week and his endorsement for presidential candidate Andrew Yang. The shows in Columbia on January 29 at Township Auditorium and Charleston on January 30 at North Charleston Coliseum will benefit the Andrew Yang presidential campaign a few weeks before the state’s Democratic primary election on February 29.

Yang, the attorney, entrepreneur, and the founder of Venture for America, has been gaining momentum as primary season heats up, receiving a recent endorsement from Elon Musk, and presidential hopefuls like Corey Booker and Beto O’Rourke bowing out.

There will be a strict no cell phone policy and all attendees who bring a cell phone will be required to place it in a locked pouch.

Tickets are now on sale via Ticketmaster and the Yang campaign website for Columbia and Charleston.
