Aespa, the groundbreaking K-pop group, will perform in the Carolinas for the first time this week at Spectrum Center. Debuting in 2020 with their single “Black Mamba,” Aespa quickly became one of the most popular names in K-pop. Their first EP, Savage, debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200, marking the highest-charting debut album by a K-pop girl group at the time. Breaking records with their second EP, Girls, which became the best-selling album by a K-pop girl group in history, they were the first to sell one million copies within the first week of release.

Aespa’s first studio album, Armageddon, was released in May 2024, featuring the hit single “Supernova,” which topped the Circle Digital Chart for eleven weeks and won Song of the Year at the 2024 MAMA Awards and 2024 Melon Music Awards.

Aespa’s shows are known for their high-energy, visually stunning performances, blending storytelling with cutting-edge technology. Recognized for their futuristic metaverse concepts, the tour features captivating stage designs, augmented reality, and synchronized visuals.
