Daniel Donato’s genre-blending musical project Cosmic Country will return to Charlotte this week at The Underground. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso, along with his band, is known for infectious grooves, fusing country, rock, and psychedelia. Donato released his debut album, A Young Man’s Country, showcasing his ability to blend twangy guitar licks with swirling psychedelic jams on tracks like “Luck of the Draw” and “Sweet Tasting Tennessee.” In 2023, Donato’s Cosmic Country released their sophomore album, Reflector, featuring the songs “Lose Your Mind” and “Hi-Country.” Throughout his career, Donato has collaborated and shared stages with Bob Weir, Marcus King, and Billy Strings.
