Stand-up comedian Kathleen Madigan returns to Charlotte for a show at Ovens Auditorium this week. Madigan gained recognition in the ’90s by appearing on numerous TV shows and specials, including Last Comic Standing, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, and her own HBO Half-Hour Comedy Special. She is also known for her writing, having penned material for Garry Shandling during the Emmy Awards. In 2016, she appeared on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld. During the pandemic, Madigan launched her comedy podcast, Madigan’s Pubcast.
