Fresh off the release of her new album, VANTABLACK, on June 14, multiple Grammy Award-winning R&B/soul singer-songwriter Lalah Hathaway returns to Charlotte’s Knight Theater this week. Hathaway’s first studio album since 2017’s Honestly produced by Tiffany Gouche, VANTABLACK, features collaborations with Common, Rapsody, Phonte, Michael McDonald, Gerald Albright, MC Lyte, and Willow. Her 2015 album, Lalah Hathaway Live, earned Hathaway the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Album.
