Rapper Big Pooh, born Thomas Jones, is a member of the iconic North Carolina hip-hop group Little Brother. Pooh released his debut solo album, Sleepers, in 2005, and has toured with De La Soul, MURS, Apollo Brown, and more, throughout his solo career. Pooh will celebrate the release of his first solo project since 2018, To Dream In Color, released on August 22.

Shame Gang

“Catchy flows and hard-hitting beats are enough to grab attention, but the ability to tell a story is what separates the good from the great. No Safe Haven places the Raleigh-based Shame Gang firmly in the category of greatness. With staggering levels of frankness, Shame Gang’s songs are filled with deeply personal anecdotes while still feeling relatable.” – Grant Golden, CLTure

Erick Lottary

“Erick Lottary’s new EP, Safe & Sound, showcases an introspective side of the Charlotte rapper-turned-singer. The new EP leans more on his romantic R&B talents than the typical hip-hop style fans may be accustomed from his earlier work like 2018’s You Can Tell and his latest single, “Give & Go,” featuring Well$ and Deniro Farrar. Only four tracks long and a bit over 10 minutes combined, Lottary packs an impressive amount of grooves and emotionally resonant messages into his latest effort following his 2019 EP, Summer On Central.” – Jose Mujica, CLTure
