Sarah Shook & The Disarmers released their latest album, Revelations, in March through Thirty Tigers. Known for their outlaw country-punk sound, the band explores themes of mental health and introspection in their music, pairing it with a twangy Southern rock style.

The band first made waves with their debut album, Sidelong (2015), which caught the attention of Bloodshot Records, and reissued it in 2017. With a raw blend of honky-tonk grit and keen lyrics, the album featured standout tracks like “Dwight Yoakam” and “Fuck Up,” showcasing Shook’s ability to merge traditional country storytelling with a rebellious modern edge.

Their 2018 follow-up, Years, was praised by Rolling Stone and NPR for its emotionally charged songwriting and production, solidifying Shook’s place in the alternative country scene with songs like “Good as Gold” and “New Ways to Fail.”

Shook also fronts the indie rock band Mightmare, who released their debut album, Cruel Liars, in 2022 through indie label Kill Rock Stars.

Modern Moxie is an indie pop/rock band based in Charlotte, fronted by singer-songwriter and musician Madison Lucas. The band released their latest EP, Tripping the Light Fantastic, in August and, over the past year, have opened for Echo & The Bunnymen at The Fillmore, The Aces at The Underground, and The Dollyrots at Neighborhood Theatre. Tripping the Light Fantastic follows their 2019 debut, Claw Your Way Out, and 2022’s Gutter Honey.
