Los Angeles alternative rock band Wallows will play two nights in Charlotte this week at The Fillmore. Comprised of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Dylan Minnette (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Braeden Lemasters (vocals, guitar, bass), and Cole Preston (drums, guitar, keyboards), the band formed in 2011 at a Van Nuys studio while students in the GigMasterz program at Keyboard Galleria Music Center. They signed with Atlantic Records in 2018 after releasing the singles “Pleaser” and “Pulling Leaves Off Trees.”

They released their debut EP, Spring, in 2018, followed by their first studio album, Nothing Happens, in 2019, featuring the hits “Are You Bored Yet?” (featuring Clairo) and “Remember When.” Their 2022 album, Tell Me That It’s Over, included the singles “I Don’t Want to Talk” and “Especially You.” In May 2024, they released Model, featuring tracks like “Your Apartment,” “Calling After Me,” and “Bad Dream.” They are set to release a new EP, More, on March 28.v

Deb Never is an indie rock singer-songwriter and producer originally from Spokane, Washington, now based in Los Angeles. She released her debut album, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, in 2021, and has collaborated with Slowthai, Jim-E Stack, Kenny Beats, Matt Champion, and more.
