Experience Hendrix Tour will celebrate music of Jimi Hendrix with “Kingfish” Ingram, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Zakk Wylde

The Experience Hendrix Tour, the only official multi-artist celebration of Jimi Hendrix’s music, will return in 2025 with four dates in the Carolinas including Charlotte (Ovens Auditorium) on April 9 and Durham (DPAC) on April 6. Making its return to the stage after a five-year hiatus, the tour will feature blues guitarists Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde, Eric Johnson, Devon Allman (son of Gregg Allman), Samantha Fish, Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Double Trouble), Noah Hunt, Mato Nanji (Indigenous), and Ally Venable with surprise guests making appearances throughout the tour.

Attendees can expect a three-hour concert with powerful renditions of Hendrix’s music with classics like “Purple Haze,” “Little Wing,” and “Voodoo Child,” with each artist adding their own unique touch to the iconic songs.

The Experience Hendrix Tour will kick off in March at Taft Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio, making stops in Durham Durham (DPAC) on April 6, North Charleston (North Charleston Performing Arts Center) on April 8, Charlotte (Ovens Auditorium) on April 9, and Greenville, South Carolina (Peace Center Concert Hall) on April 11.

Presale for the 27-date tour will begin on Wednesday, November 13 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the public Friday, November 15 at 10 a.m.
