Pabst Blue Ribbon and Charlotte-based design studio, Imek Studios, have announced a new free pop-up art exhibit at The Underground on April 30 through May 3. The “Good Times” art show will bring together a variety of talented Charlotte artists with vibrant and playful installations by HNin Nie, Dammit Wesley, Fiberess, Fred Smith, Georgie Nakima, Nico Amortegui, Rebecca Lips, Cheeks, TWOKAT, Primetime Signs, and NOIRS ONE.

The art installations will include a walkthrough floral experience, a wooden sculpture garden, a “Taxidermy Wall,” a giant abstract UV reactive throne, and much more.

Paying tribute to Charlotte pop-up art gallery, the Art Hole– that existed in NoDa from 2015 to 2017– IMEK Studios will also use neon signage to resemble the look of the original spot at the exhibit. In addition, there will be 10 to 15 local artists exhibiting their artwork for sale, including Arko, Chalkboard, Mike Wirth, Miss Lotus, Owl, OBSOE, and more.

“Good Times” is one of three art installations that Pabst Blue Ribbon has launched this year as a part of the blue label’s 1000 Creators initiative, a commitment to commissioning work from 1000 creators across the country who’ve been affected by the pandemic.

Tickets to the show are free and you can select a 30-minute time slot from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for Friday, April 30 through Monday, May 30.
